Applications will be accepted through PhORCAS, the web-based pharmacy residency application system, starting in November. The deadline for application is the first Friday in January of the Residency Year.

PhORCAS Information
Pre-requisites for PGY1/PGY2 two year combined programs: 
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited school or college
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • ​Eligible for Tennessee licensure

Tennessee licensure must occur by September 1 of the PGY1 residency year

All residency programs will be utilizing ASHP's Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service.


​Application Process:
​

1.  Submit Online: Applications must be submitted electronically via the ASHP PhORCAS portal.

Applicants interested in the program should submit the following materials through PhORCAS:
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Transcript
  • Three letters of recommendation should be completed in the reference section within PhORCAS.  Traditional letters of reference are not required. 
  • Letter of Intent

Please read the instructions carefully to be sure the application is submitted properly.
​The deadline for submitting applications is January 1st of the Residency Year.
2. All applicants must be registered with the National Matching Service. Information on eligibility and registration may be found at 
National Matching Service
3.  Interview: Applicants will be considered for an interview only after all required application materials have been submitted.  A 20-30 minute presentation will be required during the on-site interview.
