PGY1 year                            $50,000
PGY2 year                           $60,000

​Lipscomb University Benefit Summary/Retirement Plan

• TIAA-CREF plan provider and Fidelity Investments
• 403(b) plan
• One-year waiting period (waived if currently enrolled or have been enrolled in matched plan with another educational institution)
• Employer matches up to 7% of salary
• Immediately 100% vested

• Pre-tax premium account
Life Insurance
• Employer provides coverage in the amount of two times salary up to $100,000
• Coverage begins after 90 days of employment
• Can purchase additional coverage through Voluntary Life Plan
Long-Term Disability
• Employer provides coverage in the amount of 60% of salary up to 70% when combined with social security
• Coverage begins after one year of employment
• Includes a six month elimination period before benefits are paid

Medical and Vision
• Regular, full-time employees are eligible to enroll on the first day of the month following their date-of-hire
• Plan year is May 1 – April 30th of each year
Dental
• Regular, full-time employees are eligible to enroll on the first day of
the month following their date-of-hire
AFLAC
• Full-time employees also have the option to purchase additional
coverage through AFLAC
Tuition Discount
• Full-time employees are encouraged to expand their knowledge and
capabilities through continuing education
• Qualified full-time employees have the opportunity to enhance their
career by taking certain courses at no tuition charge
• Spouse and eligible dependents receive tuition discounts at Lipscomb
Academy and the University
Vacation and Holiday

• The University offers paid time off for regular, full-time employees
including holidays, vacation, and sick time
