Director Residency Programs for Lipscomb University College of PharmacyGross received his B.S. degree in biology at Murray State University and his Pharm.D. degree at the University of Tennessee. Gross completed a specialty residency in primary care with the University of Tennessee and Holston Medical Group. Before joining the faculty, Gross spent five years as an assistant professor for the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy and resident director for the primary care residency at Holston Medical Group. Gross also served as clinical pharmacy director for the practice which included coordinating clinical pharmacy involvement in a Level 3 patient-centered medical home model. Gross has received certifications in diabetes including insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring as well as asthma and heart failure.
Gross recently completed his MBA from Lipscomb University. Gross has continued to advance his expertise by earning a number of certifications including Certified Diabetes Educator, Board Certified Advanced Diabetes Manager, Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, and Board Certified Ambulatory Care Specialist. |
