Lifepoint Health Senior Informaticist, Medication Management PGY-1/PGY-2 Preceptor
Dr. Novgorodov is a Senior Medication Management Informaticist working within Lifepoint Med Management Meditech lane responsible for supporting Meditech facilities in day to day operations, assisting with new technology implementations, providing data analysis, and leading pharmacy IT initiatives. Prior to this, he participated in and successfully completed the Lifepoint PGY1 Pharmacy & PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency. Dr. Novgorodov earned a BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. He maintains interests in Clinical Decision Support, Data Analytics, Process Improvement, and Software Automation.
